Making Bears from Recycled Fabric
Tuesday 25th November for 4 weeks
10am - 12pm
Swarcliffe Community Centre
For people who are confident and competent sewers, or who have attended the Introduction to Sewing course.
This course will run over four weeks. you may finish it sooner, but we have allowed four weeks to make sure you have time.
Learn how to create a 3D stuffed animal: we have patterns for bears, dogs, penguins, cats, mice….
Due to regulations, we can’t class these as toys, they are for decorative use only, please keep away form children.
Bring your own fabric, item or garment to be upcycled. Fat quarters are ideal (often available at budget supermarkets).

You will need about the size of a pillowcase, both sides. This can be an old garment, curtains, duvet cover, or "fat Quarters" which are available at budget supermarkets. Bring your glasses too if you wear them

Join in on some DIY to give our NEW youth space a makeover, have a toastie or just see what it's all about. Open to any young people 11+ who want to try their hand at some decorating and DIY. Drop in every Thursday 3.30pm-6.30pm
