What is this group?

Join us to look at plants, learn, and have a gentle walk around Killingbeck Meadows!

This group started in September 2020 around the beautiful local nature reserve of Killingbeck Meadows, it was formally named Slow Seasonal Changes Walk. The pace of the walks is deliberately slow so people can connect with each other and nature. We identify plants and learn about their medicinal uses from each other.

Now in partnership with Leeds Discovery Centre to create our own East Leeds Herbarium, these walks encourage observation of local plants and their history.
