What is this group?
Play and Connect is a weekly low-pressure social meetup for home educated children and young people aged 6+, running every Friday from 10am-12pm. The group provides a relaxed and welcoming environment where young people can meet others, socialise and develop positive friendships.
The session offers an opportunity for home educated children and young people to connect with their peers outside of a traditional school environment. Activities and informal play provide opportunities to interact, build confidence and develop social skills at their own pace. The low-pressure nature of the group allows young people to join in as much or as little as they feel comfortable with, creating an inclusive space where they can feel welcome and connected.
